About EveryDay Labs

EveryDay Labs improves student outcomes through the power of behavioral science. We are partnering with school districts across the country to reduce absenteeism because we believe every student deserves the opportunity to learn every day. COVID-19 has made this work even more critical.

EveryDay Intervention - our multi-channel attendance improvement & family engagement program - uses behavioral science and data analytics to provide parents and families with tailored, actionable information about their children’s attendance via mail & text. Seven randomized controlled trial studies conducted across 14 school districts have proven that the program reduces chronic absenteeism by 10-15%.

EveryDay Pro - our web-based data platform helps school and district staff monitor attendance, identify patterns and trends in absenteeism, and manage attendance interventions.

Truancy Support - helps schools and districts manage truancy processes using EveryDay Pro. We leverage behavioral science to send parents and families more effective, actionable truancy notices via mail. A randomized controlled trial conducted in a large, urban district, found the EveryDay Labs letters to be 40% more effective at reducing absences than the standard truancy notice.

We are passionate about iterating our products, refining our processes, and embracing and cultivating change.

Every day we strive to live our values: We put students first, We are fearless about learning, We rumble with courage and empathy, We are pathfinders, We foster diversity, equity, and inclusion, and have fun.
