EveryDay Labs’ mission is to improve student outcomes through the power of behavioral science. We partner with school districts to reduce absenteeism because we believe every student deserves the opportunity to learn every day. Uniting behavioral science, data science, and family engagement, EveryDay Labs personalized interventions are proven to reduce chronic absenteeism by 10-15%. About the Role

As EveryDay Labs works to expand our reach and impact to school districts across the country, you will play a critical role in developing and executing our strategy for comprehensive district outreach. As a first point of contact with potential district partners, you will work to increase awareness of our program among district leaders, and help our team build an understanding of the needs of school districts and the students they serve. You'll work closely with our senior sales team, introducing them to qualified leads and supporting the sales process from first point of contact to successful close. As an evangelist for EveryDay Labs, you'll reach out to district leaders through email, phone and by attending conferences and events to discuss attendance challenges and solutions. Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Sales and District Partnerships team to develop a comprehensive strategy for district outreach
  • Reach out to district leaders through phone calls, email, social media, engaging them in conversations about attendance
  • Qualify potential leads and schedule initial meetings for members of the sales team
  • Research key decision makers and districts, to enable a tailored pitch/conversation
  • Develop an understanding of attendance strategy needs for potential district partners through research and thoughtful probing in conversations
  • Effectively communicate EveryDay Labs mission, program, and value proposition to potential district partners
  • Support the sales team throughout the end-to-end sales process, following up on conversations and requests
  • Develop and maintain extensive knowledge of attendance and parent engagement strategies
  • Represent EveryDay Labs at conferences and other partner engagement opportunities

What we're looking for - must have:

  • Passion for our mission to improve student outcomes by reducing absenteeism
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to connect and empathize with educators
  • The ability to think on your feet, anticipate needs, and overcome objections
  • Comfort with ambiguity; flexibility with potential role changes as the team grows
  • Desire to learn from and collaborate with an experienced, passionate sales team
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Persistence in both your infectious enthusiasm and your follow up
  • Willingness to travel 20% of the time

What we're looking for - nice to have:

  • Experience working in K-12 education and an understanding of the challenges faced by students and district administrators
  • Experience in sales or lead generation, especially in education
  • Experience working with remote or dispersed teams
  • Enthusiasm for applying behavioral science to help students and families
